Lying down at 11:45 PM, on my back, very pleasant vibrations accompanied by a slight buzzing occurred one after another for nearly two hours.
The first vibrations arrived spontaneously — involuntarily — but I voluntarily triggered the subsequent ones, trying to understand the triggering process and, obviously, trying to exit my body.I think I now know how to trigger the vibrations on demand, even though I don’t have much hindsight yet, since everything only started exactly one week ago.
Basically, lying on my back with my eyes closed, I breathe deeply (but not excessively) and slowly, while also quieting my mind and letting my thoughts rest.
Very quickly, I feel my body slowly relaxing, almost falling asleep, gradually fading and becoming lighter.
After a few minutes, as I slowly sink into drowsiness, I feel and hear my heartbeat slowly speeding up. At that point, I know something is about to begin.
This is followed by the arrival of soft vibrations and pleasant light buzzings — less intense than the first time.
Sometimes the vibrations continue for a while and then stop. Other times, they trigger the vision of animated, bluish ovoid shapes in a deep black space that pulls me forward rapidly toward what I believe is outside my body (though I’m still not entirely sure).
During this acceleration, colored and magnificent images sometimes appear, along with very short scenes from life.
Then comes a deep calm, where I feel like I’m in an in-between state. I’m no longer fully in my body — I have a floating sensation and a sense of silence — but I’m not fully outside either, because I still can’t move or see clearly (although my vision does seem to be improving over the last two days).
Despite my intentions and affirmations such as “I’m exiting now” or “I’m floating and moving,” nothing feels 100% concrete yet. After a few seconds, I return to my normal physical sensations.
On the other hand, to quickly return to the vibratory state within a few minutes, I deliberately avoid thinking so I can stay in the drowsy state. Then I gently move my feet in an unsynchronized, repeated back-and-forth motion — something that has given me a rocking sensation since childhood — while keeping the rest of my body completely still. This very quickly brings back the vibratory state.
That’s the summary of my night.
