The frequency of spontaneous vibrational states has drastically decreased for about two weeks now. This is very likely due to the accumulated fatigue from all the experiences I’ve had since June 11, 2026, but also because of the heatwave, my activities, and my state of mind over the past few days.
Nothing surprising about that. That said, I was happy last night to feel a few spontaneous vibrations as I was starting to fall asleep.
Yesterday, I had decided to make the most of any spontaneous vibrational states that might occur and to practice with them. I got the chance to do so for a good hour.
Every day, in the afternoon, I do about 30 to 40 minutes of deep relaxation using binaural sounds, and I now feel light vibrations almost every time, accompanied by a pleasant floating sensation. I’m often right on the edge of an out-of-body experience, but I believe the sound stimulation — since it’s coming through my physical body — prevents full detachment.
For now, I prefer to keep using the binaural sounds, because I feel they’re training my body to easily fall asleep while my consciousness stays awake. I have the sense that this also makes spontaneous vibrational states more likely to occur at night.
So last night, I experienced 5 or 6 vibrational states — fairly light and pleasant. For reference, I’m using Karine Nahkag’s method (looking a short distance behind my closed eyelids, upward, while slightly crossing my eyes). I’ve noticed that I’m now able to receive and handle the vibrations and hypnagogic images with detachment, which is much more conducive to leaving the body.
After a few unsuccessful attempts that only produced a floating sensation, I finally managed to exit my body twice in a row — not for long and not very far — but I clearly felt that subtle, pleasant sensation of freedom, of release, of sliding out.Everything happened very quickly. When I began to feel another spontaneous vibrational state coming on (they were coming every 5–10 minutes), I tried to amplify it using the brain contraction technique (https://www.auseuilducorps.fr/en#tendre-le-cerveau). I then saw beautiful, colorful, animated images and scenes. I let them flow by while observing them, without focusing my attention on any particular element.
Then I felt a kind of jolt or loss of balance in my physical body while I was lying on my left side. I had the impression of losing my equilibrium, and that’s when I felt myself sliding out of my body. The sensation of lightness excited me so much that the excitement pulled me straight back into my body. Since I was expecting this return effect (thanks to everything I’ve read on the subject), I deliberately recreated the sensation of imbalance, and once again I felt myself sliding out.
I did manage to get out of my body — but with zero vision. The environment was dark or cottony-white; it was hard to tell. I felt myself floating or slowly flying toward something unknown. Since clarity wasn’t coming, I must have unconsciously ended the experience, because I returned to my body.I then fell asleep.
